FAST CUSTOM PARTS. LOCAL DETROIT ADVANTAGE.
Our approach
We believe custom fabrication should be fast, precise, and completely frictionless. At RCF Concepts, we combine the automated efficiency of national online platforms with the expert, high-touch engineering support of a local Detroit shop. We don’t just cut lines into sheets; we optimize your layouts to deliver flawless components on tight timelines.
-
We are an agile team of engineers, makers, and FIRST Robotics alumni based in the Detroit area. Our team bridges the gap between competitive rapid-prototyping and industrial CNC machining, giving us a deep understanding of structural design, materials, and fast execution.
-
Design for Manufacturability (DFM) is built into our pipeline. When you upload a file, we review your geometry, analyze tolerances, and optimize toolpaths before a single bit touches material. This ensures your aluminum, polycarbonate, or wood parts come off our machine exactly as intended, minimizing errors and material waste.
-
We proudly support local commercial machine shops looking to offload large-scale panel routing, independent automotive and tech hobbyists prototyping custom gear, and Michigan FRC/FTC robotics teams fighting the build-season clock. No corporate minimums, no project too unique.
Local Advantage
Based right in the heart of the Motor City, our location is your ultimate competitive edge. While national suppliers box up your parts and pass them off to cross-country freight lines—costing you hundreds in shipping and forcing a 5 to 7-day delay—RCF Concepts offers lightning-fast regional transit and direct, local Detroit pickup.
Because we are local, your engineering isn't limited by what can fit into a standard shipping box. Our industrial 4'x8' CNC bed allows us to handle full-scale commercial architectural panels, oversized signage, and massive one-piece FIRST Robotics field elements that national competitors simply cannot ship to your door.
